About D'slexia Tutoring

Your tutor

Hello! I'm Denise, and I'm a Specialist Tutor for dyslexia and literacy, and a Learning Developer for post-compulsory education. ​My background is in English language and linguistics with an education focus, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I've been working with university, college and foundation students for almost 20 years, in Australia, the UK and China. 

D'slexia Tutoring

The goal of D'slexia Tutoring is to help provide strategic support for students and adults with dyslexia and co-occurring learning differences, so they might  develop as confident and competent students, academics and employees. This is achieved through programmes tailored to their specific needs. I support learners in:

* literacy (specialist and academic); 

* memory and concentration;

* organisation and using time well;

* transition to, through and beyond university;

* understanding themselves to get the best out of their learning.

  • BA English Language and Linguistics (Education strand)

  • Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management
